Abstract

The first objective of this invention is to provide a photoelectric conversion element that exhibits excellent responsivity and quantum efficiency when receiving any of the following light sources: blue light, green light, and red light. Furthermore, the second objective of this invention is to provide an imaging element and a photosensor related to the aforementioned photoelectric conversion element. The photoelectric conversion element of the present invention is formed by sequentially stacking a conductive film, a photoelectric conversion film, and a transparent conductive film. The photoelectric conversion film comprises a first compound, a second compound, a third compound, and an n-type organic semiconductor. The structures of the first compound, the second compound, and the third compound are different from each other. The first compound has a maximum absorption wavelength at a wavelength of 400 to 550 nm and an absorption coefficient of 1 × 10⁵ cm⁻¹ or more at the maximum absorption wavelength. The second compound has a maximum absorption wavelength at a wavelength of 500 to 650 nm and an absorption coefficient of 1 × 10⁵ cm⁻¹ or more at the maximum absorption wavelength. The third compound has a maximum absorption wavelength at a wavelength of 400 to 550 nm or a wavelength of 500 to 650 nm and an absorption coefficient of 1 × 10⁵ cm⁻¹ or more at the maximum absorption wavelength.
