Abstract

A display device with a small frame area is provided. The display device includes: a display panel; a support substrate; and a opposing substrate. The display panel includes a first side and a second side, the first side including a first region and a second region. In the first region, the support substrate is bonded to the display panel. In the second region, a substrate having the same material as the support substrate is not bonded to the display panel, and the opposing substrate is bonded to the display panel in the second region. In the second region of the display device, there is no substrate equivalent to the support substrate. Therefore, the radius of curvature can be reduced when bending. This allows for a smaller frame area of ​​the display device.
