Abstract

Generally speaking, according to an embodiment, the display device includes: a substrate having a display area for displaying an image and a peripheral area outside the display area; a first lower electrode disposed above the substrate in the display area; a rib layer having a first surface located on the opposite side of the substrate and a pixel opening overlapping the first lower electrode, and formed of an inorganic material; an isolation wall including a first lower portion disposed on the first surface and having conductivity and a first upper portion disposed above the first lower portion and protruding from the side of the first lower portion; an organic layer in contact with the first lower electrode through the pixel opening; an upper electrode covering the organic layer and in contact with the first lower portion; a capping layer covering the upper electrode; and a first sealing layer having a second surface located on the opposite side of the substrate and having a surface roughness greater than the first surface, covering the capping layer and formed of an inorganic material.
