Abstract

The roller support shaft 10 includes: a roller support portion 14 having an outer peripheral surface 15 covering the roller body 2; an internal flow path 16 extending axially inside the roller support portion 14 and closed at one end; a plurality of outflow holes 24 communicating with the outer peripheral surface 15 from the internal flow path 16; and a shaft end opening 18, which opens axially outward at the other end of the internal flow path 16 to allow cleaning fluid to flow into it. The roller support portion 14 has at least one flow path enlargement region 28 at the other end, closer to the axial center 25, where the cross-sectional area S3 of the internal flow path 16 is larger than the opening area S1 of the shaft end opening 18. In the flow path enlargement region 28, the area occupies 2% or more but less than 6% of the area of ​​the plurality of outflow holes 24 relative to the outer peripheral surface 15.
