This invention provides a snack that enhances its appeal. The snack 1 of this invention comprises: a main body 10; a character part C1 formed on the main body 10; and a background part formed around the character part C1 and on the main body 10; wherein the character part C1 includes a first component 21, and either the background part or the character part C1 includes a second component 33b, the second component 33b being configured to assist the first component 21. By providing the second component 33b included in the background part of the first component 21 of the character part C1 in such a way that it forms at least a portion around the first component 21, the second component 33b can assist the first component 21.
