Abstract

A mouth component 10 for dispensing a liquid into a user's mouth, the mouth component 10 being configured to be positioned within the upper buccal vestibule of the user's mouth, on the apical root side of a gingival margin, the mouth component 10 including: an inlet 12 configured to receive a fluid supply, at least two fluid outlets 22, and an internal channel 14 fluidly connecting the inlet 12 to the fluid outlets 22; and a flange portion 16 at least partially surrounding the channel 14 for adhesion to a user's gingiva; wherein the thickness of the channel 14 is greater than the thickness of the flange portion 16. A mouthpiece 10 for distribution of a liquid in a user's mouth, the piece 10 being positioned within a superior vestibule of the user's mouth apical to a gingival margin, the mouthpiece 10 consists of: an inlet 12 configured to receive a fluid supply, at least two fluid outlets 22, and an internal channel 14 fluidly connecting the inlet 12 to the fluid outlets 22; and a flange portion 16 at least partially surrounding the channel 14 for adhering to a user's gum; wherein a thickness of the channel 14 is greater than a thickness of the flange portion 16.
