Abstract

The present invention aims to provide an inhibitor that can increase the levels of cancer suppressor factors p53, p21, and Rb caused by DHMBA, thereby inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells. The present invention is characterized by using 3,5-dihydroxy-4-methoxybenzyl alcohol as the active ingredient and having an inhibitory effect on the proliferation of cancer cells.
