Claims

1. An artichoke extract for preparing antibacterial drugs or agents, comprising an extraction step of: soaking an artichoke raw material in a reaction solution for 6 to 8 hours, heating it to 80 to 120°C for 30 minutes, then removing the reacted artichoke raw material to form a first extraction solution; placing the reacted artichoke raw material in pure water and heating it to 80 to 120°C for 30 minutes, then removing the reacted artichoke raw material to form a second extraction solution; mixing the first extraction solution and the second extraction solution and concentrating them to form the artichoke extract, wherein... The reaction solution can be alcohol or pure water.

2. The artichoke extract as described in claim 1, wherein the artichoke extract contains a concentration between 1 and 500 mg per milliliter.

3. The artichoke extract as described in claim 1, wherein the concentration of the artichoke extract is between 50 and 250 mg per milliliter.

4. A composition comprising an artichoke extract as described in any one of claims 1 to 3.

5. The composition as claimed in claim 4, wherein the composition comprises an essential oil component.

6. The composition as claimed in claim 5, wherein the essential oil component comprises oregano or tea tree essential oil at a volume percentage concentration of 0.025%.
