Abstract

This invention provides a surface protective film having a substrate layer and an adhesive layer, exhibiting light peelability. Even after other surface protective films are attached to the substrate layer side of this surface protective film, which is adhered to an adherend, the surface protective film is not easily peeled off along with the adherend, even if the other surface protective films are peeled off. The surface protective film of this invention, in an embodiment, sequentially comprises a release layer, a substrate layer, an adhesive layer, and a release liner. The release layer and the release liner are the outermost layers, with an adhesion strength to a glass plate of 0.05 N / 25 mm or less, and a No. 31B tape adhesion strength of 1 N / 20 mm or less. The combined thickness of the release layer and the substrate layer is 38 μm or more.
