Hydraulic pressure control unit, straddle-type vehicle, and method for manufacturing hydraulic pressure control unit

Abstract

To obtain a straddle-type-vehicle hydraulic pressure control unit capable of suppressing fixing of a motor unit to a base body at a position deviated from a specified position as compared with the related art. A hydraulic pressure control unit according to the present invention includes a base body and a motor unit. The motor unit includes a stator, a rotor, an output shaft fixed to the rotor, and a cover provided on an outer peripheral side of the stator. The cover includes a cylindrical part covering the outer peripheral side of the stator, and a flange projecting from an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part. The base body includes a first recess part and a plastic deformation part projecting to an inner peripheral side of the first recess part. The motor unit is fixed to the base body in such a manner that the flange is sandwiched between a bottom portion of the first recess part and the plastic deformation part. The base body further includes a second recess part at the bottom portion of the first recess part. A press-insertion part in which the cylindrical part is press-inserted into an inner peripheral wall of the second recess part is provided.
