Abstract

[Problem] To provide a perforated conveying roller that prevents contact between the two ends of a sheet under strong tension in the width direction. [Solution] The perforated conveying roller of the present invention is a conveying roller having ventilation holes for air passage on the circumferential surface of the roller body, and a conveying roller having a pear-shaped portion with concave and convex portions on the surface of the roller body. The perforated conveying roller of the present invention may also be configured such that the convex portion of the pear-shaped portion has been top-cut. In this case, the top of the top-cut convex portion may also be shaped into a curved surface. The pear-shaped portion may also be configured to have a partially different surface roughness. The pear-shaped portion may also be configured such that the surface roughness of the two ends and the middle portion of the roller body is different. In this case, it can be made such that the surface roughness of either the two ends or the middle portion of the roller body is finer than the surface roughness of the other.
