Abstract

The object of this invention is to provide a polyester film that can reduce environmental impact and decrease yellowing. The polyester film comprises a recycled polyester resin containing terephthalate units. The ratio of the fluorescence intensity at 460 nm to the fluorescence intensity at 395 nm in the fluorescence spectrum measured with excitation light at a wavelength of 330 nm (i.e., 460 nm fluorescence intensity / 395 nm fluorescence intensity) of the polyester film is 0.43 or more and 0.60 or less.
