Abstract

A monitoring system for health diagnosis of a target blade of a wind turbine is provided. The system includes an infrared sensor, an image sensor, a laser sensor, a millimeter wave (mmWave) and at least a processing unit, wherein the at least processing unit is electrically connected with or communicates with the infrared sensor, the image sensor, and the specific sensor. Wherein, the at least a processing unit determines whether the target blade enters a sensing region according to sensing results of the infrared sensor and the image sensor, and when the at least a processing unit determines the target blade enters the sensing region, the specific sensor receives a specific reflect signal reflected from the target blade, and the at least a processing unit generates a monitoring result according to the specific reflect signal. Wherein the specific sensor includes at least a millimeter wave (mmWave) sensor and / or a laser sensor, and the specific reflect signal includes a mmWave reflect signal and / or a laser reflect signal.
