Abstract

This invention provides a connector component that can more reliably and easily remove foreign matter. One embodiment of the connector component includes: a substrate component fixed to an optical IC substrate from which light is incident and emitted in a direction intersecting the substrate surface; and an optical component detachable from the substrate component and optically coupled to light when mounted on the substrate component. Either the substrate component or the optical component has a guide pin for fixing the position of the optical component relative to the substrate component; the substrate component or the optical component without a guide pin has a guide hole for inserting the guide pin. The guide hole opens in a direction intersecting the direction in which the guide pin is inserted into the guide hole.
