Device control method and electronic device

Abstract

A device control method and an electronic device are disclosed. The method includes: detecting, by a fingerprint sensor, an object close to a sensing surface of the fingerprint sensor, and generating a sensing signal corresponding to the object; obtaining trajectory information based on the sensing signal, wherein the trajectory information reflects a movement trajectory of the object parallel to the sensing surface; and triggering the electronic device to execute one of a plurality of preset actions based on the trajectory information.
