Abstract

The present invention relates to a computer-implemented method for planning and implementing a work method in engineering design and production, comprising performing a dialogue with a user, including displaying (130) known work steps of the work method, and displaying possible implementation schemes for each of the work steps; receiving (140) a first selection from the user, wherein for one or more of the work steps, the first selection includes one of the displayed implementation schemes, wherein the selected implementation schemes include the implementation scheme currently used by the user; receiving (150) a second selection from the user, wherein for each of the work steps, the second selection includes one of the displayed implementation schemes, wherein the selected implementation schemes include the implementation scheme sought by the user; determining (160) additional work steps, implementation schemes, and technical means to be provided to the user for the sought implementation scheme based on the first and second selections; and displaying (170) the required work steps, implementation schemes, and means.
