Abstract
An audio decoding method comprising: obtaining, by an audio decoder, an encoded bitstream, the encoded bitstream including audio data and signaling data, the signaling data indicating that a target loudness value is included in the encoded bitstream; obtaining, by the audio decoder, the target loudness value from the encoded bitstream; and processing, by the audio decoder, the audio data according to the target loudness value.
