Abstract

This invention provides an insulating protective circuit board and a method for insulating the circuit board, automotive electronic components, and servers. The insulating protective circuit board of this invention is a circuit board in which the circuit board is insulatingly protected by a thermoplastic resin (A) and then immersed in a coolant; or the circuit board is insulatingly protected by a sheet made of thermoplastic resin (A); the thermoplastic resin (A) is at least one resin selected from the group consisting of crystalline resins with a glass transition temperature of 70°C or higher and amorphous resins with a glass transition temperature of 160°C or higher.
