Abstract
Example embodiments of the disclosure are directed to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage medium for resource configuration and activation in a multi carrier operation. The method comprises receiving, from a network device, configuration information for a group of component carriers, the configuration information at least configuring a plurality of synchronization reference resources for the group of component carriers; receiving, from the network node, activation information indicating to activate one of the plurality of synchronization reference resources for the group of component carriers; performing synchronization for the group of component carrier based on the activated synchronization reference resource.
