Bassinet assembly for bedside use

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a bassinet assembly for bedside use. The bassinet assembly includes a bassinet having a first end and a second end, an anchor subassembly for connecting the bassinet to a bed, and a first pivot subassembly for connecting the bassinet with the anchor subassembly. The first pivot subassembly has a first connector proximate to the first end of the bassinet, the first connector defining a first pivot axis. The bassinet assembly further includes a second connector proximate to the second end of the bassinet, the second connector being selectively releasable from the anchor subassembly. The first pivot subassembly is configured to allow the bassinet to move about the first pivot axis when the second connector is released from the anchor subassembly.
