Abstract

A foldable leg-raising machine that reduces storage space and cost comprises at least a base assembly, a main armrest frame, two drive rods, a fixed pulley, and two elastic resistance components. The base assembly includes a first support and a second support that are foldably pivotally mounted. The main armrest frame is fixed to the front section of the first support. The two drive rods are pivotally mounted on opposite sides of the first support, rotating in an alternating arc trajectory, with a pedal pivotally mounted at their lower ends. The fixed pulley is pivotally mounted on the rear side of the first support and has a cable wound around it. The cable, after winding around the fixed pulley, is connected at both ends to the upper ends of each drive rod. The two elastic resistance components are located on opposite sides of the first support, with one end connected to a crossbar of the first support and the other end connected to each drive rod, providing reverse resistance when the two drive rods swing back and forth. This achieves the combined effects of folding, low cost, and resistance-based leg-raising motion.
