Abstract
A processing method for a workpiece is provided, wherein an electrical discharge machining (EDM) oil is placed between a wire and the workpiece, and an electrical discharge is performed to process the workpiece; the EDM oil has a kinematic viscosity of 0.70~5.0 mm² / s at 40°C; the wire has a diameter of 30~250 µm; the wire speed during the processing is 11 m / min or more; and the wire tension during the processing is 1~24 N.
