Manufacturing method of packaging for microwave heating

Abstract

This invention provides a method for manufacturing a microwave oven heating package, which includes a pressure release section that can safely and reliably release high-pressure steam during microwave heating. The method for manufacturing the package includes a step S24 of completely cutting through a U-shaped cut-in portion along the thickness direction from the outer surface to the inner surface of a sheet member, and a heat-sealing step S25 of partially heat-welding the sealing layers together to form a heat-sealed area to create a food storage space within the package. In the partial re-bonding step S25A, the broken areas of the sealing layers penetrating the cut-in portions of each sheet member are re-bonded. The cut-in portion is formed in a protruding area extending into the food storage space, and the U-shaped bend is formed by a first arc, while the outer edge of the protruding area is formed by a second arc concentric with the first arc. When the radius of the first arc is r1 and the radius of the second arc is r2, r1:r2 = 2~4:8.
