Abstract

This invention relates to a power control device for an electric motorcycle, comprising a vehicle controller, an operating element, a motor controller, and a motor. The vehicle controller has built-in riding modes, including a normal mode, a boost mode, and a rain mode. Each riding mode establishes a corresponding output torque curve based on different motor speeds. At the same motor speed, the output torque of the rain mode is lower than that of the normal mode and the boost mode. In poor weather or road conditions, the user can switch to the rain mode via the operating element. The vehicle controller generates a torque command based on the current motor speed, throttle opening, and the output torque curve in the rain mode, and outputs the torque command to the motor controller. The motor controller then controls the motor to operate according to the torque command, allowing the user to maintain a stable ride without having to exert effort on the throttle.
