Abstract

A trolley-type automated warehouse is provided, which can adjust the stopping position of the trolley according to the goods and can quickly load them. The automated warehouse (1) of the present invention includes a reverse origin side buffer conveyor (32) and a trolley (4), and includes: a transfer device (40) comprising: a fixed arm (52) disposed on the reverse origin side and a movable arm (54) disposed on the origin side; a cargo detection sensor (70) disposed at a position closer to the reverse origin side than the fixed arm (52); and a controller (34, 44); the controller is configured such that when the trolley (4) moves to load from the reverse origin side buffer conveyor (32), the trolley moves at a low speed (V2) in the cargo detection area (positions C to D) of the reverse origin side buffer conveyor (32), and the trolley stops based on the detection by the reverse origin side photoelectric sensor (70) of the reverse origin side end of the cargo (W) present in the reverse origin side buffer conveyor (32).
