Method for manufacturing vinyl isocyanate compounds

Abstract

This invention provides a method for manufacturing a high-purity vinyl isocyanate compound that suppresses the formation of (meth)acrylic anhydride. Specifically, this invention provides a method for manufacturing a composition derived from a method for manufacturing a purified vinyl isocyanate composition from a crude vinyl isocyanate composition, wherein an alcohol is added to the aforementioned crude vinyl isocyanate composition, and the aforementioned purified vinyl isocyanate composition contains a (meth)acrylic acid compound having an isocyanate group and less than 0.2% by mass of an acid anhydride. This invention also provides a vinyl isocyanate composition containing an vinyl isocyanate compound and less than 0.2% by mass of an acid anhydride.
