Abstract

[Objective] To provide a method for producing a target product in high yield by simultaneously improving the reactivity of the main hydrosilanization reaction and suppressing multiple side reactions in the hydrosilanization reaction of a hydrosilane compound and a β-keto ester compound with unsaturated bonds. [Solution] A method for producing a compound of general formula (1) (R¹ independently represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or a monovalent hydrocarbon group with 1 to 20 carbon atoms, R² independently represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group with 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and n is an integer from 0 to 2) and a β-keto ester compound with unsaturated bonds (R³ represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group with 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and R⁴ represents an unsubstituted divalent hydrocarbon group with 1 to 20 carbon atoms) by hydrosilanization reaction in the presence of a ketone solvent using a platinum catalyst, resulting in a compound of general formula (3) (R¹, R², R³, R⁴, and n are the same as above).
