Abstract

This invention provides a dispersion that ensures the thickness of a low-refractive-index layer and achieves uniform in-plane film thickness. The dispersion of this invention is characterized by: it having particles dispersed in a dispersion medium, wherein the particles are condensates comprising alkoxysilane raw materials; the concentration of the particles in the dispersion is 3.5% by weight or more and less than 18.5% by weight; and the viscosity of the dispersion is 4 mPa·s or more and less than 5000 mPa·s.
