MAPT-modulating oligonucleotides for treating central nervous system diseases

Abstract

The present disclosure provides oligonucleotides, pharmaceutical compositions, kits, and methods of using the oligonucleotide. The oligonucleotides comprise a central nervous system (CNS) ligand. A strand of the oligonucleotides may be a therapeutic or prophylactic agent. The oligonucleotides may be able to deliver the therapeutic or prophylactic agent to a subject. The oligonucleotides may be useful in modulate (e.g., inhibiting) the expression or activity of microtubule associated protein tau (MAPT) and in treating or preventing diseases, e.g., central nervous system (CNS) diseases, in the subject.
