Abstract
A laminate comprising at least one side of a substrate having an A layer containing at least two elements selected from groups comprising elements of groups 2-5 and 12-14 of the periodic table, and oxygen, wherein the surface roughness Ra of the A layer, calculated by atomic force microscopy (AFM), is less than 5.0 nm. This invention provides a laminate with high gas barrier properties even with a low-cost and simple construction.
