Abstract

This invention provides a washing machine that can suppress foreign objects from contacting a substrate through a simpler structure. The washing machine includes: a panel member disposed on the washing machine body and having an opening; a receiving member disposed on the back side of the panel member and housing a substrate on which electrical components are mounted; a first operating member protruding from the opening outside the washing machine body and actuating the electrical components mounted on the substrate; and a second operating member disposed inside the first operating member, protruding from the opening outside the washing machine body and actuating other electrical components mounted on the substrate. At least the portion of the receiving member that overlaps with the opening on the facing surface opposite the panel member is inclined downward toward any edge of the facing surface.
