Abstract

The present invention provides a washing machine that can prevent the components forming the cover from separating from each other. The washing machine includes: a washing machine body having an opening at the top for communication between the inside and outside; and a cover (20) that can be opened and closed to cover the opening. The cover (20) includes: a cover body (22) covering the opening; a damper connected to the washing machine body and serving as a rotation axis when the cover (20) is opened and closed; a connecting part connecting the cover body (22) to the damper; and a connecting member (80) connecting the cover body (22) to the connecting part. A clamping part (60) is provided at the connecting part, wherein the clamping part (60) clamps one end of the cover body (22) from the thickness direction of the cover body (22) to hold the cover body (22).
