Abstract
The power generation unit (10) includes: a heat exchanger (2) located directly above or on the seabed (91) to heat the working fluid flowing inside by hot water from the seabed that is not in contact with the seawater above the seabed (91); a turbine (3) that rotates by the working fluid flowing through the heat exchanger (2); a generator (4) that generates electricity by using the rotation of the turbine (3); and a condenser (5) that cools the working fluid used by the rotation of the turbine (3) by the seawater above the seabed (91).
