Abstract
The optical module of the present invention includes: an optical waveguide having a core and a sheet-like cladding having a plurality of cores arranged along the width direction, wherein the widths at both ends of the length direction are different by deformation along the length direction in the width direction; and a substrate for connecting one end of the optical waveguide in the length direction; and the plurality of optical waveguides are connected to the same plane in the length direction of the substrate.
