Order affinity-based SKU stowing method and system

Abstract

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an SKU placement method is performed through a computing system and includes the following steps: identifying an order affinity between each SKU (stock keeping unit) among a plurality of SKUs to be placed, wherein the order affinity between each SKU is identified based on the number of times the SKUs have been ordered together in a single order during a predefined time period; identifying one or more predefined constraint conditions; and generating an SKU placement plan such that the sum of order affinities between a first SKU and a second SKU placed in the same zone among the plurality of SKUs is maximized while satisfying the constraint conditions, wherein the SKU placement plan places the plurality of SKUs in at least one or more zones.
