Abstract

This invention provides a composite material with excellent flowability and suppresses magnetic loss in the core of a hardened material comprising the composite. The composite material includes metal powder and a resin composition. The metal powder is a soft magnetic material. The resin composition comprises a thermosetting resin. The metal powder contains a plurality of submicron particles and a plurality of large particles having a particle size larger than the plurality of submicron particles. The content of the plurality of submicron particles in the metal powder is expressed as V1 (volume %). The content of the plurality of large particles in the metal powder is expressed as V2 (volume %). V2 / V1 is 29 or more and 59 or less.
