Method of manufacturing yokeless axial flux core

Abstract

A method of manufacturing yokeless axial flux core is provided. The method comprises steps of: transporting an electrical steel coil to a position above an entrance of a jig by a feeding mechanism, and cutting the electrical steel coil into a plurality of sheets by a punching assembly, wherein each of the sheets has a cutting length, and the plurality of sheets are sequentially punched downward from the entrance of the jig into the jig, so that the plurality of sheets are stacked in the jig. The cutting length of each of the sheets is greater than the cutting length of the adjacent sheet stacked thereon in the same jig. The stack is reshaped and combined into an iron core through welding or bonding by impregnation or self-bonding coating activation, etc.
