Abstract

This invention provides an all-solid-state battery that, even when the energy storage element is housed inside an armored structure and the internal pressure of the armored structure is set below atmospheric pressure, is less prone to damage to the energy storage element, thus achieving stable battery performance. The all-solid-state battery 1 of this invention comprises: an energy storage element 2 having a solid electrolyte layer 6, a positive electrode layer 7, a negative electrode layer 8, and current collector layers 9 and 10; a casing 3 housing the energy storage element 2; and an armored structure 4 housing the casing 3; wherein, when viewed from above, the casing 3 has openings 5A and 5B that overlap at least a portion of the energy storage element 2; and the casing 3 has a sidewall 3c facing the side 2c of the energy storage element 2.
