Abstract

The present invention provides a network packet processing device including a hardware-accelerated forwarding circuit and a network processing unit (NPU). The hardware-accelerated forwarding circuit is used to receive a plurality of packets and process the plurality of packets to generate a plurality of to-be-forwarded packets. The NPU is used to perform per-flow traffic statistics on the plurality of to-be-forwarded packets, to generate a plurality of traffic statistics results of a plurality of flows, respectively.
