Abstract

The application provides a camera module and an electronic device. The camera module includes a substrate, a lens unit, an image sensor, and a filling material layer. The substrate includes a first surface and a second surface arranged oppositely. The substrate is provided with a light-transmitting hole that passes through the first and second surfaces. At least one edge of the first surface adjacent to the light-transmitting hole is provided with a welding area and a dam wall. The dam wall is located between the welding area and the edge of the light-transmitting hole, and extends away from the second surface. The filling material layer is disposed between the non-imaging region and the welding area, and located on the side of the dam wall away from the light-transmitting hole. By providing the dam wall, the filling material can be effectively prevented from overflowing into the image sensor during the material dispensing process, reducing its impact on the light-transmitting hole and ensuring the clarity of optical imaging.
