Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to a plant cultivation system, and more particularly to an auxiliary tool frame and plant cultivation system that can provide an environment conducive to plant growth without affecting the workflow. Prior Technology
[0002] Key factors affecting plant growth are good ventilation and appropriate lighting. Plant factories typically use fans to improve indoor ventilation, such as ceiling-mounted, wall-mounted, or floor-standing fans. However, while these fans improve ventilation, they cannot evenly distribute airflow to all plants, leading to stunted growth and damage to plants near the air vents, or scorched leaves in plants further away. Furthermore, floor-standing fans, besides not providing even airflow, can obstruct workflow and generate noise, thus affecting work efficiency.
[0003] To improve the shortcomings of the aforementioned fans, another approach is to place the fans at both ends of the shelf. However, this would cause plants closer to the fans to receive too strong a wind, while plants farther away from the fans would receive insufficient wind, thus affecting their growth efficiency. Another approach is to use ductwork for air supply. However, the maintenance cost of using ductwork is high, and the air blown out by the ductwork is small and cannot cover the plant leaves, affecting growth efficiency. In addition, the ductwork wall causes significant wind power loss and has a very poor energy conversion rate.
[0004] Lighting is the sole source of illumination in plant factories. Issues such as the angle of light, the uniformity of the light source, and whether the heat generated by the lighting will cause heat damage all affect plant growth. A common lighting setup is to integrate the lighting fixtures with the planting shelves. This method results in a fixed distance between the lighting fixtures and the plants, making it difficult to adjust the height according to different crops, lacking flexibility, and requiring workers to face the light source, which can easily lead to eye problems over time. Another method is to place the lighting fixtures directly above the plants. However, as the plants grow, their leaves will block each other, preventing the side leaves from receiving light and causing them to wither and reduce productivity. This method also installs the lighting fixtures at the bottom of the upper planting troughs, which not only fails to effectively dissipate heat from the lighting fixtures but also allows heat to rise into the planting troughs, affecting the growth of the upper plants. Yet another method is to separate the lighting fixtures from the planting shelves, using a dense array of light panels or a vertical light tube configuration. However, the light panels in the aforementioned methods can block airflow, causing scorched leaves, or prevent the light source from effectively complementing the plants on the upper and lower levels, thus failing to achieve optimal utilization.
[0005] Regardless of how the fan or light fixture is set up, users may accidentally bump into it and damage it during plant harvesting, thus affecting work efficiency. Summary of the Invention

[0019] The directional descriptions such as "front," "back," "up," "down," "left," and "right" used in this article are for ease of understanding only. This invention is not limited to these directions and can be adjusted according to actual circumstances. This invention uses the Z-axis as the up-down direction, the X-axis as the left-right direction, and the Y-axis as the front-back direction.
[0020] To clearly illustrate the specific embodiments, structure, and effects achieved by the present invention, embodiments are provided and described below with reference to figures:
[0021] Please refer to Figures 1 to 4, which illustrate a plant cultivation system comprising at least one planting frame 30 and at least one auxiliary tool frame 20. In an embodiment of the present invention, a set of slide rails is further included on a plane, and both the at least one planting frame 30 and the at least one auxiliary tool frame 20 are movably mounted on the set of slide rails. In other embodiments, the at least one planting frame 30 is configured to be fixedly mounted on the plane, while the at least one auxiliary tool frame 20 is configured to be movably mounted on the plane or on the set of slide rails, allowing the auxiliary tool frame 20 to move relative to the planting frame 30.
[0022] In the embodiments of the present invention, the number of planting frame 30 is one, and the number of auxiliary tool frame 20 is two, and the illustration is based on planting harvestable plants such as vegetables or flowers. In practice, it is not limited to this. In other embodiments, the number of planting frame 30 and auxiliary tool frame 20 is one, or multiple planting frame 30 and auxiliary tool frame 20 are provided at the same time to adapt to different planting environments and space requirements.
[0023] In an embodiment of the present invention, the planting frame 30 is disposed between the two auxiliary tool frames 20. The planting frame 30 has a base 31 and two support rods 32. The two support rods 32 are respectively arranged vertically from the two sides of the base 31 along a Z-axis direction. The base 31 is provided with a plurality of sliding members 33. These sliding members 33 are slidably disposed on a slide rail so that the planting frame 30 can move along the slide rail and adjust its position.
[0024] Each auxiliary tool frame 20 has a base 21, on which a plurality of sliding members 22 are slidably mounted on a slide rail, allowing the auxiliary tool frame 20 to move and adjust its position along the slide rail for easy alignment with the planting frame 30. The base 21 has two side rods 23 on its two sides, each vertically extending from one side of the base 21 along a Z-direction, and a plurality of crossbars 24 spaced apart from top to bottom. The two ends of each crossbar 24 are adjustablely connected to the side rod 23, allowing the position of the crossbars 24 to be adjusted according to different planting environments and plant requirements. Furthermore, each crossbar 24 can be mounted on the left or right sides of the side rod 23, allowing planting frames 30 to be configured on both sides of the auxiliary tool frame 20, improving flexibility and space utilization efficiency. In other embodiments, the crossbars 24 are fixedly mounted on the auxiliary tool frame 20.
[0025] Please refer to Figure 3. Each crossbar 24 is equipped with a plurality of fans 25 and at least one lighting fixture 26. The lighting fixture 26 is mounted on one of the left or right sides of the crossbar 24 via a connector 27. The connector 27 may also be equipped with a swing arm 28 to adjust the angle of the lighting fixture 26. The fans 25 are mounted on the lower side of the crossbar 24 via a fixing member 29. The number of fans 25 is arranged in an array according to the size of the planting pot, so that the plants in the planting pot can receive wind evenly, reducing the problem of scorched leaves caused by uneven wind, and effectively improving productivity. The fixing member 29 is a bendable structure to facilitate adjustment of the angle of the fans 25. Users can adjust the airflow direction and light direction according to the attributes, size, or growth needs of the plant to provide the best ventilation and light conditions for the plant, thereby promoting healthy plant growth and improving planting efficiency. In an embodiment of the present invention, the lighting fixture 26 is a strip-shaped LED light fixture, and the fans are low-power fans. In other embodiments, the lighting fixture 26 may be configured as a plurality of LED bulbs and the number of fans 25 may be set accordingly.
[0026] To further explain, the light-emitting direction of the lighting fixture 26 is set to be approximately parallel to the air-emitting direction of the fans 25. In embodiments of the present invention, the angular difference between the air-emitting angle of the fan 25 and the light-emitting angle of the lighting fixture 26 is between 5 and 15 degrees, preferably 10 degrees. This design allows the airflow distribution of the fan 25 and the light coverage of the lighting fixture 26 to be more coordinated, ensuring that the plants receive wind and light evenly, thereby improving the problem of mutual shading between plant leaves and helping to optimize the plant's growth environment. In this way, the airflow generated by the fan 25 can be evenly directed onto the plant's surface, avoiding insufficient or excessive ventilation in certain parts of the plant due to uneven airflow. Simultaneously, the light from the lighting fixture 26 can also be evenly irradiated onto the plant's leaves, further improving the plant's growth efficiency. In addition, the angle difference between the air outlet angle of the fan 25 and the light outlet angle of the lighting fixture 26 is adjustable. Users can flexibly adjust the angle difference according to the characteristics, size or growth needs of different plants, so as to meet the ventilation and light requirements of specific plants, effectively improve the plant growth rate and productivity, and achieve precise cultivation environment management.
[0027] Further explanation: In an embodiment of the present invention, the slide rail set has two tracks 111, each track 111 having a raised guide block 112 (see Figure 4). The sliding members 33 of the base 31 and the sliding members 22 of the base 21 are sliders, each slider having a guide groove matching the contour of the guide block 112, enabling the base 31 and the base 21 to move stably and smoothly on the tracks 111, and effectively preventing abnormal sliding caused by vibration or offset. Furthermore, the matching structure of the sliders and guide blocks 112 provides higher load capacity, suitable for the load-bearing requirements of multi-layer planting frames 30. In other embodiments, the two tracks 111 may be provided with guide grooves, and the sliding members 33 of the base 31 and the sliding members 22 of the base 21 may be provided as pulleys. The pulleys can roll within the guide grooves or move directly on the plane, achieving the same smooth sliding effect. The design can be adapted to different application scenarios or the design requirements of the planting frame 30 by selecting a slider or pulley structure according to actual needs, but is not limited to this.
[0028] Please refer to Figure 4. During the plant's growth process, the two auxiliary tool frames 20 can be moved closer to the planting frame 30 to provide optimal ventilation and lighting conditions, further promoting plant growth. Please refer to Figure 1. When the plant enters the harvesting period, the user can move the auxiliary tool frames 20 away from the planting frame 30, freeing up more operating space for harvesting operations, avoiding interference from the auxiliary tool frames 20, and increasing work efficiency. In addition, since the planting frame 30 only has plants and no lights, fans, or other equipment, the user's hands will not come into contact with the lights or other devices above during harvesting, reducing the risk of equipment damage and greatly improving the convenience and safety of operation. Furthermore, the user will not be directly facing the light source during harvesting, reducing the risk of eye diseases caused by long-term light exposure, further optimizing the overall experience of plant planting and harvesting.
[0029] This invention utilizes a movable auxiliary tool frame 20 to adapt to different operational needs during the plant growth and harvesting periods. During the plant growth period, adjustable lighting fixtures 26 and fans 25 mounted on the auxiliary tool frame 20 provide optimal ventilation and lighting conditions for the plants according to their characteristics. During the plant harvesting period, it frees up more operating space for harvesting operations, avoids interference from the auxiliary tool frame 20 in the harvesting process, and improves operational convenience and work efficiency.
