Abstract

This invention includes a base, a main body, and a screening portion. The base has a bottom and two upright frames. The base is rotatably pivoted between these two upright frames. This base has a rotating portion, an opening and an inner space. The inner space includes a first space, a second space, and a third space sequentially. The sieving portion is disposed between the second space and the third space. The first space is adjacent to the base in a normal condition. A cat sand or called cat litter can be supplied in the first space through the opening. The rotating portion is used to rotate the main body for switching to a condition that the third space is adjacent to the bottom. The cat sand is filtered from the first space and second space through the sieving portion and then falls into the third space. Hence, a cat poop can be clean out via the opening from the inner space. After which, the main body can be rotated back to the normal condition that the first space is near the bottom. The cat sand falls back to the first space again. This invention is easy to sieving and clean up the cat poop from the cat sand by rotation. Applying a vibrating generator can enhance the sieving effect. An extra UV light can be applied to sterilize the inner space of the main body for improving sanitary conditions.

Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] This invention relates to a cat litter cleaning device, particularly a cat litter cleaning device that can easily filter and remove dirt by rotating, can accelerate the filtration effect by vibration, and can sterilize the internal space of the main body and the cat litter to improve the hygiene of the main body and the cat litter. [Previous Technology]

[0002] Traditional cat litter boxes are open, and cats can use them to defecate and urinate after they are filled with cat litter.

[0003] Its disadvantages are as follows:

[0004] [1] It is inconvenient to remove waste from the cat litter. After cats urinate and defecate in traditional simple cat litter boxes, due to the cats' habits, they will bury the waste in the litter, which requires manual shoveling to remove and discard the waste, or directly replacing all the cat litter (which is wasteful), or pouring out the cat litter for sieving, the latter is inconvenient and unhygienic, and few people use this method. Therefore, it is inconvenient to remove waste from the cat litter.

[0005] [2] Vibration cannot improve the filtration effect. Generally, commercially available automatic or semi-automatic cat litter boxes do not use high-speed vibration for filtration, so the efficiency of separating cat litter from feces and urine clumps is low, which easily leads to cat litter waste. Therefore, vibration cannot improve the filtration effect.

[0006] [3] It is impossible to sterilize and improve the hygiene of the cat body and the litter. Traditional litter boxes are open and usually do not have a sterilization design. Therefore, it is impossible to sterilize and improve the hygiene of the cat body and the litter.

[0007] In view of this, it is necessary to develop a technology that can solve the above-mentioned shortcomings of conventional methods. [Summary of the Invention]

[0008] The purpose of this invention is to provide a cat litter cleaning device that combines the advantages of conveniently filtering and removing dirt by rotation, accelerated filtering effect by vibration, and sterilization of the internal space and cat litter to improve the hygiene of both the device and the litter. In particular, this invention aims to solve the problems of inconvenience in removing dirt from cat litter, the inability to improve filtering effect through vibration, and the inability to sterilize and improve the hygiene of both the device and the litter.

[0009] The technical means to solve the above problem is to provide a cat litter cleaning device, which includes:

[0010] A base having a bottom and two uprights; the two uprights are erected on the bottom, the two uprights having a pivot joint, and there is a rotation space between the two uprights;

[0011] A main body is disposed on the base and located within the rotation space. The main body has two main body pivots, a rotating part, a through-hole, and an internal space. The two main body pivots are respectively pivotally disposed on the two upright pivots, allowing the main body to rotate within the rotation space. The rotating part is disposed on one of the two main body pivots. The through-hole connects the internal space of the main body to the outside. The internal space of the main body sequentially has a first space, a second space, and a third space. At least one of the first space and the third space is used to contain cat litter. The through-hole connects to the second space.

[0012] A sieve component is disposed on the main body and spaced between the second space and the third space;

[0013] The main body can be rotated to at least a first position and a second position. When the main body is rotated to the first position, the first space is adjacent to the bottom and is used to set the cat litter. When the main body is rotated to the second position, the third space is adjacent to the bottom and is used to set the cat litter. The screen is used to filter at least one piece of dirt.

[0014] The above-mentioned objects and advantages of the present invention can be readily understood from the following detailed description and accompanying drawings of the selected embodiments.

[0015] The present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the following embodiments and figures:

Implementation Method

[0016] Referring to Figures 1A, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 (to avoid cluttering the lines in the figures, some components in Figures 1A, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are omitted from the diagram, but are described below), this invention is a cat litter cleaning device, which includes:

[0017] A base 10 has a bottom 11 and two uprights 12. The two uprights 12 are erected on the bottom 11, and the two uprights 12 have two upright pivots 121, and there is a rotation space M between the two uprights 12.

[0018] A main body 20 is disposed on the base 10 and located within the rotation space M. The main body 20 has two main body pivot portions 21, a rotating portion 22, a through portion 23, and an internal space K. The two main body pivot portions 21 are respectively pivotally mounted on the two upright pivot portions 121, allowing the main body 20 to rotate within the rotation space M; the rotating portion 22 is disposed on one of the two main body pivot portions 21; the through portion 23 connects the internal space K of the main body to the outside; the internal space K of the main body has a first space K1, a second space K2, and a third space K3 in sequence (see Figures 1C and 5). At least one of the first space K1 and the third space K3 is used to accommodate a cat litter 91; the through portion 23 connects to the second space K2.

[0019] A sieve 30 is disposed on the main body 20 and spaced between the second space K2 and the third space K3 (see Figures 1C and 5).

[0020] The main body 20 is rotatable to at least a first position P1 (refer to Figures 1A, 1B, 5 and 6) and a second position P2 (refer to Figure 9). When the main body 20 is rotated to the first position P1, the first space K1 is adjacent to the bottom 11 and is used to hold the cat litter 91. When the main body 20 is rotated to the second position P2, the third space K3 is adjacent to the bottom 11 and is used to hold the cat litter 91. The sieve 30 filters at least one piece of dirt 92 (refer to Figure 3).

[0021] In practice, the main body 20 has a pair of pivotal plates 20A, a pair of side plates 20B, and a pair of top plates 20C that are opposite to each other. The main body space K is located therebetween, and the first space K1, the second space K2, and the third space K3 are located sequentially between the pair of top plates 20C.

[0022] The two main pivot parts 21 are respectively provided on the pair of pivot plates 20A.

[0023] The opening 23 is provided on one of the opposite side plates 20B.

[0024] For example, referring to Figures 1A and 1B (in this case, the front view) or Figure 10 (in this case, the rear view), the opening 23 is located on the right side of the opposite side plate 20B.

[0025] Referring to Figure 10 (in this case, an example from a frontal view), the opening 23 is located on the left side of the opposite side plate 20B.

[0026] Furthermore, the opening section 23 may further include a set of opening tracks 231 and an opening door panel 232, wherein the set of opening tracks 231 is used for the opening door panel 232 to open and close the opening section 23.

[0027] When the opening 23 is open, at least one of the cat litter 91 and a cat 93 (see Figure 5) can enter and exit the internal space K of the main body, and at least one piece of dirt 92 can be cleaned out and leave the internal space K of the main body.

[0028] When the main body 20 is rotated in the direction where the opening 23 faces upward (refer to Figures 7, 8 and 9, in which case the opening 23 may be located on the right side of the opposite side panel 20B), the cat litter 91 can be prevented from falling out (of course, the opening 23 can also be directly closed by the opening door panel 232).

[0029] When the main body 20 is rotated in the direction of the opening 23 downward (refer to Figure 10), it is convenient to remove at least one piece of dirt 92 from the internal space K of the main body.

[0030] Referring to Figures 1B (i.e., the second embodiment of this case) and 1C, the main body 20 may further include a passage portion 24, which is formed on one of the pivot plates 20A. The passage portion 24 may further include a set of passage rails 241 and a passage door panel 242, the set of passage rails 241 being used for the passage door panel 242 to open and close the passage portion 24.

[0031] When the first space K1 is near the bottom 11, the passage 24 can also facilitate the cat 93 to enter the second space K2 and urinate or defecate in the cat litter 91.

[0032] The at least one waste 92 may be the cat's urine or feces 93.

[0033] The rotating part 22 can be manual, electric, or automatic (e.g., remote control via APP).

[0034] Referring to Figures 2A, 2B and 2C, the sieve 30 has a plurality of sieve holes 30A, and the sieve 30 may be provided with an adjustment plate 31, which has a plurality of adjustment holes 311 corresponding to the plurality of sieve holes 30A.

[0035] Furthermore, by controlling the relative movement of the adjustment plate 31 and the sieve 30, the size of the hole area of the plurality of sieve holes 30A can be adjusted through the plurality of adjustment holes 311. For example, Figure 2A shows the hole closed, Figure 2B shows the hole half open, and Figure 2C shows the hole fully open. Of course, other hole areas can also be used, depending on the actual filtration and cleaning requirements.

[0036] This case may further include:

[0037] A vibration device 40 is provided on the screen 30 to generate vibration on the screen 30, thereby accelerating the filtration and cleaning of the cat litter 91 to remove at least one piece of dirt 92.

[0038] The vibration device 40 can be a vibration motor.

[0039] A sterilization device 50 is disposed within the main body 20 and located within the third space K3. The sterilization device 50 is used to sterilize at least one of the cat litter 91 and the at least one piece of dirt 92.

[0040] The sterilization device 50 can be an ultraviolet lamp.

[0041] A limiting mechanism J (refer to Figures 1A, 1B, 1C, 4A and 4B) is provided on at least one of the base 10 and the main body 20.

[0042] The limiting mechanism J includes at least a limiting recess J1 and a limiting protrusion J2.

[0043] The limiting recess J1 is provided on the main body 20, and it is preferable to be adjacent to the pivot plate 20A.

[0044] The limiting protrusion J2 is provided on the base 10 corresponding to the limiting recess J1, and can be driven to either separate from the limiting recess J1 (refer to Figure 4A) or engage with the limiting recess J1 (refer to Figures 1A, 1B and 4B). When separated, the main body 20 can be rotated; when engaged, the main body 20 can be fixed.

[0045] The usage process in this case is as follows:

[0046] First, as shown in Figure 5, the main body 20 is located in the first position P1 (i.e., the "normal use state"). When the limiting protrusion J2 and the limiting recess J1 are engaged (refer to Figure 4A changing to Figure 4B), the main body 20 can be fixed. The first space K1 is adjacent to the bottom 11 (refer to Figure 5) and pre-accommodates the cat litter 91. At least one of the opening 23 and the channel 24 facilitates the cat 93 to enter the second space K2 and urinate or defecate in the cat litter 91 (i.e., the at least one piece of waste 92). The cat 93 leaves after urinating or defecating (i.e., as shown in Figure 6).

[0047] When it is desired to remove the at least one piece of dirt 92, the limiting protrusion J2 and the limiting recess J1 separate relative to each other (refer to Figure 4B, which changes to Figure 4A), and the main body 20 can be rotated. The main body 20 can be rotated through the rotating part 22 (for example, counterclockwise rotation as shown in Figures 7 to 9). During the rotation, the cat litter 91 passes from the first space K1 through the second space K2, is filtered and cleaned by the sieve 30 to remove the at least one piece of dirt 92, and gradually falls into the third space K3. At this time, the main body 20 is located in the second position P2 (i.e., the "inverted sieving state").

[0048] Furthermore, the vibration device 40 can be activated to vibrate the screen 30, thereby accelerating the filtration and cleaning of the cat litter 91 to remove at least one piece of dirt 92.

[0049] The sterilization device 50 can be activated to sterilize the cat litter 91 (see Figure 9). At the same time, the opening 23 (and the passage 24) can be closed to improve safety.

[0050] Similarly, referring to Figure 2A (which is the closing hole), the cat litter 91 can be removed and replaced from the opening 23.

[0051] Furthermore, by controlling the relative movement of the adjustment plate 31 and the sieve 30, the size of the hole area of the plurality of sieve holes 30A can be adjusted through the plurality of adjustment holes 311 (therefore, the flow speed of the cat litter 91 can be controlled or adjusted). For example, Figure 2B shows a half-hole, Figure 2C shows a fully open hole, and of course, other hole areas can also be used, all depending on the actual filtration and cleaning requirements.

[0052] Next, referring to Figure 10, after at least one contaminant 92 has been filtered out of the screen 30 (at this time located in the second space K2), the main body 20 is rotated again, and at a better tilt angle, the at least one contaminant 92 is cleared out of the internal space K of the main body through the opening 23.

[0053] After the at least one piece of dirt 92 is removed, the main body 20 is rotated and switched so that the first space K1 is adjacent to the bottom 11 (refer to Figures 1C and 6, where the at least one piece of dirt 92 is ignored). The cat litter 91 then falls back into the first space K1 from the third space K3 through the sieve 30, that is, the main body 20 returns to the first position P1 (i.e., the "normal use state") for the next use.

[0054] The advantages and benefits of this case can be summarized as follows:

[0055] [1] Rotating the main body allows for easy sieving and removal of waste. By rotating the main body through the rotating part, the cat litter can pass from the first space through the second space, be sieved and cleaned by the sieve to remove at least one piece of waste, and then fall into the third space. After the at least one piece of waste has been filtered out of the sieve, the main body can be rotated again to remove the at least one piece of waste through the opening at a better tilt angle. In addition to being very convenient, the process does not involve any contact with the cat litter, making it very hygienic. Therefore, rotating the main body allows for easy sieving and removal of waste.

[0056] [2] Vibration can accelerate the filtration effect. The present invention provides the vibrating device on the screen to generate vibration on the screen, which can accelerate the filtration and cleaning of the cat litter and remove at least one dirt. Therefore, vibration can accelerate the filtration effect.

[0057] [3] The internal space of the main body and the cat litter can be sterilized to improve the hygiene of the body and the cat litter. In this case, the sterilization device is installed inside the main body. The sterilization device is mainly used to sterilize at least one of the cat litter and at least one of the dirt. And because light is non-directional, it can sterilize wherever the internal space of the main body is illuminated. Therefore, the internal space of the main body can be sterilized to improve the hygiene conditions.
