Abstract

The present invention relates to an armrest assembly structure for a chair. Specifically, a rotary knob is provided on a cover plate at an upper end of an armrest support bracket, corresponding to an assembly hole set on a bottom surface of an armrest cushion. During assembly, the armrest cushion is rotated at an angle so that two protrusions on the rotary knob of the armrest support bracket engage and lock into two corresponding recesses in the assembly hole of the armrest cushion. Additionally, one side of one of the protrusions of the rotary knob interlocks with a tenon of a latch on the armrest cushion, thereby completing the assembly of the armrest support bracket and the armrest cushion. To disassemble the armrest cushion from the armrest support bracket, a pin is inserted into an insertion hole on the bottom surface of the armrest cushion, pushing against an inclined hole wall within a through hole of the latch. This guided action along the inclined hole wall allows the tenon of the latch to disengage from one of the protrusions of the rotary knob. Subsequently, by rotating the armrest cushion in the opposite direction, the rotary knob of the armrest support bracket is detached from the assembly hole of the armrest cushion. Through this design, quick assembly and disassembly of the armrest cushion and armrest support bracket can be effectively achieved.

Description

Chair armrest assembly structure This invention relates to the technical field of chair armrests, and more particularly to a chair armrest assembly structure. Note that most chairs have armrests on both sides of the seat to improve comfort and provide support for the user's hands, thereby reducing the weight of the arms hanging down on the shoulders and preventing neck and shoulder pain when sitting for a long time. Existing chair armrest structures typically include an armrest support for attaching to the seat and an armrest cushion connected to the support for resting the user's elbows. Because the armrest support and cushion are molded as a single piece, if either is damaged, the entire armrest must be replaced. This increases maintenance costs, wastes materials, and is highly environmentally unfriendly. Furthermore, the limited design options for the one-piece armrest support and cushion fail to meet the demands of consumers who prefer novel and stylish designs, thus impacting their market competitiveness. The reason is that, in view of the above-mentioned shortcomings in the manufacture and use of existing chair armrests, the inventor, with the help of his many years of manufacturing and design experience and knowledge in related fields, and through various ingenious ideas, created this invention. This invention relates to a chair armrest assembly structure, the main purpose of which is to provide a chair armrest structure that allows for the movable assembly and disassembly of the armrest bracket and armrest cushion, thereby saving maintenance costs and enhancing market competitiveness. To achieve the above-mentioned objectives, the inventors have devised the following chair armrest assembly structure, comprising: A handrail support is attached to the upper end of the handrail support and a knob is provided. A protrusion is formed on each of the two opposite sides of the knob. An armrest cushion has a set of vertical holes on its bottom surface, and a notch is formed on each of the two opposite sides of the set of vertical holes. A knob and its two protrusions on the armrest support correspond in shape to the set of vertical holes and their two notches. The knob and its two protrusions are correspondingly positioned within the set of vertical holes and their two notches. Each set of vertical holes has a groove formed on each opposite side of its upper edge wall. These two grooves are offset from the two notches, and one side of each groove is connected to one side of each notch. The two protrusions of the knob are movably engaged with or disengaged from the two grooves of the set of vertical holes. The bottom surface of the armrest cushion also has... There is a receiving groove, and a tenon and an elastic element are provided in the receiving groove. The two ends of the elastic element are respectively in contact with the tenon and the receiving groove. A through hole is provided at one end of the receiving groove to communicate with one of the grooves. The tenon at one end of the tenon is movably extended into the groove through the through hole of the receiving groove to be movably locked or separated from one of the protrusions of the knob. A connecting rod is formed at the other end of the tenon of the tenon, and an oblique through hole is provided on the connecting rod. The oblique through hole has an oblique hole wall set at an angle. An insertion hole is provided on the bottom surface of the armrest cushion, and the insertion hole corresponds to the position of the oblique through hole of the tenon. As described above, in the chair armrest assembly structure, the armrest cushion is formed with a stop block at the bottom of its groove, and a hollow hole is provided in the tenon. The stop block of the groove is located in the hollow hole of the tenon, and the elastic member is located in the hollow hole of the tenon. The two ends of the elastic member are respectively in contact with the hole wall on one side of the hollow hole of the tenon and the stop block of the groove. In the chair armrest assembly structure described above, the tenon is fitted with a guide portion formed at the end of its tenon. As described above, the armrest assembly structure of the chair includes a cover at the upper end of the armrest cushion. As described above, in the chair armrest assembly structure, a cover plate is fixedly provided at the upper end of the armrest bracket, and the knob is provided on the cover plate. The chair armrest assembly structure described above further includes a pin that is inserted through a hole on the bottom surface of the armrest cushion and abuts against the oblique wall of the oblique through hole of the latch. Therefore, during assembly, the knobs on the armrest bracket are aligned with the mounting holes on the armrest cushion. The armrest cushion is then rotated at an angle so that the two protrusions on the knobs of the armrest bracket engage with the two grooves on the mounting holes of the armrest cushion. One side of the knob's protrusion engages with the tenon of the latch on the armrest cushion, thus completing the assembly of the armrest bracket and armrest cushion. Furthermore, to disassemble the armrest cushion and armrest bracket, a pin is inserted through the bottom hole of the armrest cushion into the oblique hole of the latch. The pin is guided along the oblique hole wall to disengage from the knob's protrusion. Then, the armrest cushion is rotated in the opposite direction at an angle to disengage the mounting hole from the knob on the armrest bracket. This allows for quick assembly and disassembly of the armrest cushion and armrest bracket. To more fully and clearly disclose the technical means and effects of this invention, a detailed description is provided below, along with the disclosed drawings and figures: First, please refer to Figures 1 and 2, which show the armrest assembly structure of the chair of the present invention, which mainly includes: A handrail support (1) is attached to the upper end of the handrail support (1) and a cover plate (11) is fixed thereon. A knob (12) is provided at the center of the top surface of the cover plate (11), and a protrusion (121) is formed on the two opposite sides of the knob (12). An armrest cushion (2) has a set of upright holes (21) at the center of its bottom surface. A notch (211) is formed on each of the two opposite sides of the upright holes (21). The knob (12) and its two protrusions (121) on the armrest bracket (1) correspond in shape to the upright holes (21) and their two notches (211). The knob (12) and its two protrusions (121) are correspondingly positioned on the upright holes (21) and their two notches (211). A groove (212) is formed on each of the two opposite sides of the hole wall near its upper edge of the upright hole (21). The two grooves (212) are connected to... The two notches (211) are staggered, and one side of each of the two grooves (212) is connected to one side of each of the two notches (211). The two protrusions (121) of the knob (12) are respectively engaged with or separated from the two grooves (212) of the set hole (21). A groove (22) is provided on the bottom surface of the armrest cushion (2), and a stop block (221) is formed at the bottom of the groove (22). A tenon (23) is provided inside the groove (22), and a hollow hole (231) is provided at the appropriate position of the tenon (23). The stop block (221) of the groove (22) is positioned within the tenon (211). 3) In the hollow hole (231) of the tenon (23), an elastic element (24) is provided. The two ends of the elastic element (24) are respectively in contact with the hole wall of the hollow hole (231) of the tenon (23) and the stop block (221) of the groove (22). A through hole (222) is provided at one end of the groove (22) to communicate with one of the grooves (212). The tenon (232) at one end of the tenon (23) can be moved through the through hole (222) of the groove (22) to the groove (212) to be locked in place with one of the protrusions (121) of the knob (12). The tenon (232) of the tenon (232) is formed with a guide part (233) that is inclined, conical or arc-shaped, and a connecting rod (234) is formed at the other end of the tenon (232) of the tenon (233). A slanted through hole (235) is provided on the connecting rod (234). The slanted through hole (235) is formed with a slanted hole wall set at an angle. A insertion hole (25) is provided on the bottom surface of the armrest cushion (2). The insertion hole (25) is corresponding to the position of the slanted through hole (235) of the tenon (23). A protective cover (26) is provided on the upper end of the armrest cushion (2). Therefore, when assembling and using it, please refer to Figure 3. Place the armrest cushion (2) on the upper end of the armrest bracket (1), and make the knob (12) on the top surface of the armrest bracket (1) and its two side protrusions (121) pass through the assembly hole (21) and its two side notches (211) on the bottom surface of the armrest cushion (2) to the upper edge of the assembly hole (21). Then apply force to rotate the armrest cushion (2) clockwise by an angle. At this time, the armrest... One of the protrusions (121) of the knob (12) on the bracket (1) is guided by the inclined guide (233) at the end of the tenon (232) of the latch (23), pushing the latch (23) towards the inside of the groove (22) to compress the elastic element (24) in the hollow hole (231) of the latch (23), and causing the tenon (232) of the latch (23) to exit the groove (212). Please refer to Figure 4 for details. Subsequently, the two protrusions (121) of the knob (12) can be rotated and moved from the two side notches (211) of the assembly hole (21) to the two grooves (212) of the assembly hole (21) respectively, so as to be positioned against the two grooves (212). At the same time, the tenon (232) of the latch (23) loses the push of the protrusion (121) of the knob (12), and the elastic element (24) that is compressed due to the latch (23) being pushed into the groove (22) can return to its original state, so as to push the tenon (232) of the latch (23) back into the groove (212), and be locked and positioned against one side of the protrusion (121) of the knob (12). In this way, the assembly of the armrest cushion (2) and the armrest bracket (1) can be easily completed. Furthermore, when the armrest of the chair of the present invention is used for a period of time and the armrest cushion (2) is damaged, please refer to Figures 5 and 6. The user can take a pin (3) and insert the pin (3) into the insertion hole (25) provided on the bottom surface of the armrest cushion (2) so that it comes into contact with the oblique hole wall of the oblique through hole (235) of the tenon (23). Please refer to Figure 7. The pushing force of the pin (3) being inserted continuously will be guided along the oblique hole wall of the tenon (23) and push the tenon (23) towards the inside of the groove (22). At this time, the elastic element (24) provided in the hollow hole (231) of the tenon (23) will be compressed, and the tenon (232) of the tenon (23) will also be disengaged from the locking and positioning state of the protrusion (121) of the knob (12). Please refer to Figure 8. Then, the user applies force to rotate the armrest cushion (2) counterclockwise by an angle, so that the two protrusions (121) on the knob (12) of the armrest bracket (1) rotate and move from the two grooves (212) on the assembly hole (21) of the armrest cushion (2) to the notches (211) on both sides of the assembly hole (21) [as shown in Figure 9]. Then the user can pull the armrest cushion (2) upward so that the assembly hole (21) on the bottom surface of the armrest cushion (2) is disengaged from the knob (12) of the armrest bracket (1), thus achieving the effect of easily separating the armrest cushion (2) from the armrest bracket (1). Then, the user can reassemble a brand new, undamaged armrest cushion (2) with the armrest bracket (1). The assembly hole (21) on the bottom of the armrest cushion (2) is aligned with the knob (12) of the armrest bracket (1). Then, force is applied to rotate the armrest cushion (2) by an angle so that the two protrusions (121) on both sides of the knob (12) of the armrest bracket (1) are respectively positioned against the two grooves (212) of the assembly hole (21) of the armrest cushion (2), and the tenon (232) of the latch (23) is locked and positioned against the protrusion (121) on one side of the knob (12), so as to easily complete the maintenance work of the armrest cushion (2). According to this design, when the armrest cushion (2) is damaged, the damaged armrest cushion (2) can be easily removed from the armrest bracket (1), and a new armrest cushion (2) can be quickly installed on the armrest bracket (1) without having to remove and replace the armrest bracket (1) at the same time. In addition, when the armrest bracket (1) is damaged, only the armrest bracket (1) needs to be removed and replaced, without having to discard the armrest cushion (2) at the same time. This greatly saves the maintenance cost of chair armrests and avoids the improper waste of material resources, thus meeting environmental protection benefits. Furthermore, since the armrest cushion (2) of the present invention is manufactured separately from the armrest bracket (1), when the armrest cushion (2) or the armrest bracket (1) is to be reshaped, only a part of the armrest cushion (2) or the armrest bracket (1) needs to be manufactured separately, which helps to save the manufacturing cost of the armrest. In addition, when consumers want to change the shape of their chair armrests, they can choose to replace only one of the armrest cushion (2) or the armrest bracket (1), or they can use different colors to match the armrest cushion (2) and the armrest bracket (1), etc. This flexible assembly design can increase the diversity of armrest shape changes, attract consumers to buy, and enhance the competitiveness of the chair armrest industry. The foregoing embodiments or figures are not intended to limit the implementation of the present invention. Any appropriate changes or modifications made by those skilled in the art should be considered as not departing from the patent scope of the present invention. As can be seen from the above structure and implementation methods, the present invention has the following advantages: 1. The chair armrest assembly structure of the present invention separates the armrest support from the armrest backrest, and uses a snap-fit mechanism to allow for quick assembly and disassembly of the armrest support and armrest backrest. Thus, when either the armrest backrest or the armrest support is damaged, the damaged armrest backrest or armrest support can be easily disassembled and replaced without discarding the entire armrest. This effectively saves on the maintenance costs of chair armrests and avoids the improper waste of material resources, thus meeting environmental protection benefits. 2. The chair armrest assembly structure of the present invention manufactures the armrest support and the armrest cushion separately. When the armrest cushion or the armrest support needs to be shaped differently, only one part of the armrest cushion or the armrest support needs to be manufactured separately, thereby saving the manufacturing cost of the armrest. In addition, the armrest cushion and the armrest support can be matched with different colors to further enhance the variability of the armrest shape. In this way, the actual benefits such as improving the competitiveness of the chair armrest industry can be achieved. In conclusion, the embodiments of the present invention can indeed achieve the expected effects, and the specific structure disclosed therein has not only never been seen in similar products, but has also never been disclosed before the application. It fully complies with the provisions and requirements of the Patent Law. Therefore, we hereby file an application for an invention patent and respectfully request your review and grant of a patent, which would be of great benefit to you. 1: Armrest support; 11: Cover plate; 12: Knob; 121: Protrusion; 2: Armrest cushion; 21: Assembly hole; 211: Notch; 212: Groove; 22: Receiving groove; 221: Stop block; 222: Through hole; 23: Tenon; 231: Hollow hole; 232: Tenon; 233: Guide part; 234: Connecting rod; 235: Angled through hole; 24: Elastic element; 25: Insertion hole; 26: Protective cover; 3: Pin.
