Abstract

An absorbent article (1) having an absorbent core (10) that is orthogonal in the longitudinal, width and thickness directions when unfolded, and having liquid absorbency, wherein: on the skin side, there is an adhesive (30) that can be bonded to a part of the absorbent article (1) when discarded, and when the absorbent article (1) is folded in the longitudinal direction with the skin side as the inside, so that the adhesive (30) is bonded to a part (30') of the absorbent article, during a drop test from a predetermined height (h) to the ground (FL), at least a part of the adhesive (30) remains bonded to the part (30') of the absorbent article.
