Abstract

Nozzle 30 is a nozzle that ejects processing fluid for discharging chips generated in machine tool 1. It includes: a connecting portion 31, which is tubular and has a straight first flow path 33 for supplying processing fluid; and a guide portion 32, which forms at least a portion of a second flow path 34 that changes the direction of ejection of processing fluid supplied from the connecting portion 31a. The guide portion 32 has a recess 32a formed by recessing in the direction away from the connecting portion 31a in the direction of the central axis O1 of the first flow path 33. When viewed from the direction of the central axis O1 of the first flow path 33, the position P in the recess 32a that is farthest from the connecting portion 31a is offset from the position of the central axis O1 of the first flow path 33.
