Silver powder and its manufacturing method

Abstract

The silver powder of this invention comprises an aggregate of silver particles. The tap density (TD) is 2.3 g / cm³ or less. The ratio of the BET specific surface area (SSA) [m² / g] to the tap density (TD) [g / cm³), i.e., SSA / TD, is 1.5 or less. The aspect ratio (length-to-diameter ratio) of the silver particles is 3.5 to 12.0 or less. Preferably, the product of the BET specific surface area (SSA) [m² / g] and the cumulative particle size distribution (D50) at 50% volume percentage, measured using laser diffraction particle size distribution determination, i.e., SSA×D50, is 2.6 or less.
