Ratchet structure

Abstract

This invention provides a ratchet structure that is easy and intuitive for users to use. A ratchet structure allows switching the free-spinning direction of a second member relative to a first member by rotating the operating part forward or reverse relative to a first member from a neutral position. The control unit includes at least: a forward rotation limiting part configured to engage with the second member, which, in the forward position, can be released from engagement with the second member by sliding movement, and in the reverse position, performs an oscillating movement by repeatedly engaging and releasing the engagement with the second member; and a reverse rotation limiting part configured to engage with the second member, which, in the reverse position, can be released from engagement with the second member by sliding movement, and in the forward position, performs an oscillating movement by repeatedly engaging and releasing the engagement with the second member. This ensures that the rotation direction of the operating part from the neutral position is the same as the free-spinning direction of the second member relative to the first member allowed by the rotation operation.
