Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] This invention relates to an improvement of a cutting device for a labeling machine, and more particularly to a cutting device for cutting films in a labeling machine. [Previous Technology]

[0002] Note that conventional label cutting devices mainly use multiple straight blades and a rotating mechanism that drives these blades to cut the film in segments from the outside to the inside. As shown in Figure 1, these blades 11 rotate unidirectionally around their respective axes of rotation. When these blades 11 rotate to the center V, they will cut out circular film M segments from the outside to the inside. Then, force is applied to the film M from the outside to the inside to cause extrusion deformation, which can easily lead to uneven edges or even burrs on the cut circular film M, thus affecting the accuracy and stability of the cutting.

[0003] Furthermore, if the effective cutting range is defined by the overlapping part of the rotation path of the blades 11 and the cut film M, and the non-overlapping part is defined as the invalid cutting range, the invalid cutting range of the conventional label cutting machine is much larger than the effective cutting range during the cutting process, which makes the cutting efficiency of the entire device poor, and the conventional design also makes the entire mechanism bulky and occupies too much space. [Summary of the Invention]

[0016] In order to make the description of this disclosure detailed and complete, specific embodiments and specific examples of the present invention are described, but they are not the only forms of implementing or using the specific examples of the present invention. Other specific examples can be used to achieve the same or equivalent functions and steps.

[0017] The descriptions of directions such as “front”, “back”, “up”, “down”, “left”, and “right” in this article are only for ease of understanding. This work is not limited to these directions, but can be adjusted according to the actual situation.

[0018] Please refer to Figure 2, which is an exploded view of a first embodiment of the label cutting device 20 of the present invention. The label cutting device 20 has a central axis L and two guide disks 21. The two guide disks 21 are arranged at intervals corresponding to each other. Between the two guide disks 21, a rocker arm 23, a driven disk 22, and a plurality of blades 25 are arranged sequentially from top to bottom. One end of the rocker arm 23 is rotatably disposed on the lower surface of the guide disk 21 and is connected to the driven disk 22 through a drive assembly 24. The blades 25 are disposed above the guide disks 21 by a linkage assembly 26. The driven disk 22 is coaxially disposed with the two guide disks 21, and its surface is provided with a plurality of driven rails 221 extending radially outward from the axis L. The surfaces of the two guide disks 21 are respectively provided with a plurality of guide rails 211 extending outward from the axis L. Relative to the two guide disks 21, the driven disk 22 rotates about the axis L.

[0019] The drive assembly 24 includes a rotating guide post 241 and a pin 242. The rocker arm 23 has a drive rail 231. The rotating guide post 241 rotates about the axis L, and its axle is movably inserted in the drive rail 231. The pin 242 is fixed to the upper surface of the driven disk 22 and is movably inserted in the drive rail 231. The linkage assembly 26 includes a plurality of guide sliders 261. The lower axle of each guide slider 261 is movably inserted in each guide rail 211. Each blade 25 is disposed above the lower axle of each guide slider 261. The blades 25 are arc-shaped blades and are arranged around the axis L. The upper axle of each guide slider 261 is movably inserted in each driven rail 221 and inserted into each guide rail 211 of the guide disk 21.

[0020] Please continue to refer to Figures 3 and 4, which illustrate the implementation of the first embodiment of the present invention. When the rotating guide post 241 rotates, the axle of the rotating guide post 241 moves repeatedly in the drive rail 231, causing the rocker arm 23 to swing back and forth, thereby causing the driven disk 22 to rotate within a fixed angle about the axis L. The rotation of the driven disk 22 causes the upper and lower axles of each guide slider 261 to move repeatedly in each guide rail 211. The two guide disks 21 are fixedly arranged, and the guide sliders 261 drive the blades 25, as shown in Figure 4, about the axis L as the center. The blades 25 move outward and are arranged in a ring, as shown in Figure 3, and then move inward and retract towards the axis L. When the blades 25 move outward, they cut the film M into circular segments from the inside out. Since the film M is subjected to the tension of the blades 25 spreading outward during the cutting process, it can prevent the film M from being squeezed and deformed, resulting in an uneven cut. This ensures that the cutting lines are consistent. When the blades 25 retract, they will not be exposed, reducing the overall volume and optimizing the space configuration. In addition, compared with the conventional label cutting device 10, the travel path of the blades 25 is shorter, effectively improving the operating efficiency of the device.

[0021] Next, please refer to Figure 5, which is an exploded view of the second embodiment of the present invention. Compared with the first embodiment, the label cutting device 20 adds a fixed base 27. The fixed base 27 and one of the guide disks 21 are arranged coaxially and are correspondingly spaced. Between the fixed base 27 and the guide disk 21, a rocker arm 23, a driven disk 22, another guide disk 21 and a plurality of blades 25 are arranged sequentially from top to bottom. The fixed base 27, the driven disk 22 and the two guide disks 21 are arranged coaxially. The rocker arm 23 is rotatably disposed on the lower surface of the fixed base 27 and is connected to the driven disk 22 by a drive component 24. The blades 25 are connected to the two guide disks 21 through a linkage component 26.

[0022] The drive assembly 24 is provided with a large gear 243, a small gear 244, and a sliding guide post 245. The large gear 243 and the small gear 244 are meshed and connected to each other, and are coaxially arranged with the two guide disks 21. The upper axle of the small gear 244 is rotatably mounted on the lower surface of the fixed base 27. The sliding guide post 245 is fixed on the upper surface of the driven disk 22. The rocker arm 23 has two mutually perpendicular rods, each rod being provided with a drive track 231. The lower axle of the small gear 244 and the sliding guide post 245 are respectively movably passed through the two drive tracks 231. The arrangement of the linkage assembly 26 and the blades 25 is similar to that in the first embodiment, and will not be repeated here. In this embodiment, the rotation of the large gear 243 is used to link the rocker arm 23 and the driven disk 22, thereby realizing the movement of the blades 25 extending outward around the axis L for cutting, and retracting inward.

[0023] In addition to having two guide discs 21, the label cutting device 20 of the present invention may also have a single guide disc 21 to make the device more streamlined and reduce the overall weight. Please refer to Figure 6, which illustrates the third embodiment of the present invention. The surface of the guide disc 21 is provided with a plurality of guide rails 211, and each pair of guide rails 211 forms a group, which are bent outward about the axis L and are parallel to each other. A driven disc 22 and a fixed seat 27 are arranged coaxially below the guide disc 21. Two rocker arms 23 and a drive assembly 24 are provided between the driven disc 22 and the fixed seat 27. A plurality of blades 25 and a linkage assembly 26 are provided between the guide disc 21 and the driven disc 22.

[0024] The drive assembly 24 includes a gear disk 246 and two eccentric shaft gears 247. The two eccentric shaft gears 247 are respectively meshed with the gear disk 246 and are rotatably mounted on the upper surface of the fixed base 27. One end of each rocker arm 23 is connected to the eccentric shaft of each eccentric shaft gear 247, and the other end is fixed to the lower surface of the driven disk 22. When the gear disk 246 rotates, the two eccentric shaft gears 247 drive the two rocker arms 23 to move back and forth in a direction away from and towards the axis L. The movement of the two rocker arms 23 further drives the driven disk 22 to rotate repeatedly within a specific angle. The linkage assembly 26 is provided with a plurality of bearings 262 and a plurality of pins 264. The bearings 262 and the pins 264 are respectively movably inserted into the drive rails 231 and the guide rails 211 and are respectively connected to the upper and lower parts of the blades.

[0025] When the driven disk 22 rotates, the pins 264 move back and forth along the guide rails 211 and engage the blades 25, causing them to expand outward and move inward around the axis L. Since the pins 264 restrict the movement of the blades 25 along the guide rails 211, the accuracy of the blade movement can be ensured. In another preferred embodiment, the linkage component 26 further includes a plurality of clamps 263, which are respectively clamped on the upper and lower surfaces of the guide disk 21. Every two clamps 263 are connected through the pins 264 to reinforce the connection between the guide disk 21 and the blades 25, so that the blades 25 can move stably and accurately along the guide rails 211.

[0026] The invention sets the blades 25 around the spindle L and arranges them into a ring type after moving outward to the outermost side with the spindle L as the center, shortening the path of travel of the blades 25 and improving the efficiency of cutting the thin film M. In addition, the knives The blade edge of the piece 25 is set outward, so that the cutting manner is cut from the inside of the film M to the outside. The thrust applied by these blades 25 to the film M not only avoids squeezing the film M, but also improves the fixity, ensuring that the edge of the cut film M is smooth and hairless.

[0027] It is worth mentioning that the drive assembly 24 is connected to a drive source that may be, but is not limited to, an electric motor, magnetic drive, or mechanical link drive to drive the drive assembly 24 to complete a series of linked operations. [Brief explanation of the diagram]
