Abstract
The following film is provided as a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) based film, exhibiting excellent curl resistance, tensile strength, low leaching of low molecular weight components, and superior optical properties. In the PVA based film, the slope SL0-30, when approximated linearly by the change in the long period from immersion in water to immersion in water at 35°C for 30 seconds (obtained by small-angle X-ray scattering), satisfies 0.208 < SL0-30 < 0.270.
