Optical film with anti-fouling layer

Abstract

This invention provides an optical film with an antifouling layer suitable for ensuring the peel resistance of the antifouling layer and suppressing the decline of antifouling performance. The optical film F with an antifouling layer of this invention sequentially comprises a transparent substrate 11, a hard coating layer 12, an inorganic oxide substrate layer 13, and an antifouling layer 14. The antifouling layer 14 is a dry-coated film disposed on the inorganic oxide substrate layer 13. The surface 14a of the antifouling layer 14, opposite to the inorganic oxide substrate layer 13, was measured using nanoindentation, and the hardness at 25°C was found to be 1.05 GPa or higher.
